Drama
Student will learn to develop their imagination and acting skills. The students will begin to explore monologues, commercial acting, character study, theatrical terminology, vocal development, improvisation and more. We work on greater character study, improvisational development, personal monologue work, and remembering past experiences to develop characters.
Voice
Students will learn note recognition, note values along with characters and songs that go along with them. They work on harmonizing and as individual singers. They work on their scales, vocal projection, and melodies etc.
Musical Theater Dance: This class focuses on the style that is used in musical theater productions on Broadway. They will explore different styles of dance and the ability to perform as many different characters. It builds on classical forms of dance, but adds the flair of acting to it. *This class for 6th-12th grade also requires students to also enroll in a jazz class.
