Josie Wieher
Josie Wieher has been dancing since she was three and choreographing since she was thirteen. She has trained in styles including Ballet, Jazz, Contemporary, Hip-hop, Modern, and Heels. Joining the Devine Performing Arts competition team was when she realized dance was her dream. Since then, she has trained with TigerStyle Crew, Ashleyliane Dance Company, and many more outstanding professionals. Her first self-choreographed piece was a duet competed at Cathy Roe's Ultimate Dance Competition, where she was awarded first place, judge's choice, and the student choreography award (which she then won three years in a row). By the time she graduated high school, she had over ten choreographed pieces that were performed at dance competitions. One was even showcased at the "Kansas City Choreographers Festival" and another at "Paradox Version 1". This year she starred in an upcoming short film entitled "RIND" created by Joran Kaya. Currently, Josie has returned to teach the next generations of dancers at her home studio everything she has learned while still working with local artists and performing her choreography professionally.
