Liz is a 16 year old Junior at Lafayette High School. She loves being part of the DPA staff as a student teacher and is so excited for this upcoming year. It will be her second year teaching her own classes and fifth year assisting and substituting for DPA. This will be Liz’s eighth year competing. She was also a part of the Danse Arts Company (DAC) for seven years but is unfortunately unable to participate this year because she is a member of her school dance team, LHS Escadrille. She has competed and performed many different styles including Jazz, Pom, Ballet, Tap, Hip Hop, Contemporary, and Modern. Though she loves every style of dance, her absolute favorite is hip hop with tap coming in a close second. This year Liz will be teaching kids ballet/tap/jazz and youth hip hop. She has experience teaching classes with ages 2 - 12. Though she has only been teaching for two years, she has worked with kids for seven years through babysitting and working for Bricks 4 Kidz-St. Louis. Liz also received a Glory of Missouri award for Enterprise in 2017. Liz’s favorite part about teaching is getting to know the kids and seeing their strengths and character come out when they dance. She loves her kiddos with all her heart and is beyond excited to start another year with her DPA family!
